The connector industry continues to consolidate with the larger companies buying medium and smaller companies. Amphenol's acquisition of Teradyne Connection Systems is the most recent example. However, on the "backend" we continue to identify more and more small manufacturers entering the connector industry. This is particularly evident in China. In this report, we identify the Chinese connector market by end-use equipment sectors and major product categories. We also profile over 200 connector companies that are operating in China. In our opinion, some of these companies will grow and become formidable competitors. This report provides contact information, products manufactured, and equipment applications on Chinese connector companies. These companies are potential partners in the Chinese market.
